This is a distance learning, inquiry/project based learning module that takes students on a journey to discover, “How far can we explore the universe?” SPACE, the solar system, rovers, robotics, CAD Design, Web design and screen casting. This module guides a student through 3 research tasks, 3 training tasks, a reading comprehension, 4 physical activities that need to be recorded or uploaded, 3 Google Forms to assess learning and a Final project that can be done as an individual or group. Students will learn how to create their own Google website, CAD design and screen casting. Included is a set of custom made badges that can be issued to students as according to their abilities. Pupils are charged to design a prototype rover or lander that must explore the far reaches of our solar system according to their teacher designated planet or moon.
