A follow up lesson to ‘What is History’ lesson. This focusses on Chronology and Timelines so that pupils can begin to understand the key tools of a historian.
This is a bundle of 4/5 lessons aimed at year 8 which provides an overview of the British Empire.
The lesson titles are:
Lesson 1- What is an Empire?
Lesson 2- How did the British Empire change over time?
Lesson 3- Was the British Empire a force for good?
Lesson 4/5- The Amritsar Massacre.
I have designed these lessons to be able to be picked up easily be non-specialists so they are a little bit presciptive, but can be edited easily to suit your classes needs.
