The final page includes a similarly colour-coded visual aid which can be printed out as a poster once learners have memorised the acronyms.

A blank tracker for learners to complete to check they know the skills required to prepare for the exam. This has proved very helpful for my students - it's a one page tracker that once completed, they can glance at and memorise so once they're sat in the stressful environment of the exam room, learners won't be in any doubt what they need to do in the exam. The tracker includes space for timings, marks and skills for each question. There is one each for foundation and higher tier and finally, a fully completed tracker that can be shared with learners if needed.
Bored of using AQA's past papers? We've created a GCSE mock exam paper which follows the style of the AQA exam. Each question (1a, 1b, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) replicates the wording and style of a real GCSE English Language exam. The paper follows a conservation theme (bees) as this seems to be a popular theme within the media of late and we know AQA are keen on promoting current issues and British values (caring for the environment).
