This fun and interactive Weather Wheel helps young children learn about daily weather. The wheel includes four weather types: sunny, rainy, snowy, and windy; and can be used each day to answer the question, “How’s the weather today?” Children can spin the wheel to match the weather and explore the clothing outlines that show what people might wear in different weather conditions. This hands-on activity encourages discussion, builds vocabulary, and helps children connect weather with appropriate clothing choices. Perfect for daily routines at home, in classrooms, or in early years settings.

Research shows that praise can help children feel more motivated and confident at school, but the type of praise we give matters. When children hear specific praise about their effort or the strategies they used, they are more likely to keep trying, even when learning becomes challenging. For example, instead of saying You are so clever, it is more helpful to say something like, I noticed you kept trying different ways to solve that problem. This helps children understand what they did well and encourages them to repeat those actions. That is why I have created five ways to praise children using specific phrases that can easily be adapted when talking about their schoolwork.

This interactive Seasons Wheel helps young children learn about spring, summer, autumn, and winter by exploring how trees change throughout the year. Each section shows what happens to tree leaves in different seasons, helping children visually understand seasonal changes. Simply cut out the wheels and attach them using a split pin so children can spin the wheel to explore each season. This hands-on activity encourages discussion, observation, and early science learning. It is perfect for daily classroom routines, home learning, or seasonal lessons.
