An Inspector Calls: Invaluable QUOTATIONS COLLECTION WITH KEY TERMINOLOGY

(0)
This is an invaluable revision resource for your students - it presents all of the key moments and quotations, with relevant terminology to use in their answers. I have also included some thematic mind-maps. This is a tried and texted resources designed for students who may need to revise the finer details of the text to improve their knowledge of the play in its entirety. They should identify the relevant themes and dramatic devices suggested at the top of each section as they go through the quotations. It will encourage class discussions about contexts and themes, and Priestley’s crafting of the story to represent ideas. I suggest colour-coding the quotations by character and using to plan exam questions as part of their revision.

'THE COLOR PURPLE' BY ALICE WALKER - FULL SOW FOR A-LEVEL - IN SECTIONS - ON POWERPOINTS

Power-points start from letter 11, once students have explored the first few and have a sense of context - there is a separate resource included for introducing the text. Each power-point deals with every letter individually - focusing in on key aspects of the text and providing a range of student-centered activities that develop the skills required at A-Level. This unit includes high level language analysis with apt terminology - and the SOW is designed so that the text can be taught as a stand alone text and/or as a comparative text - literary heritage and contexts feature throughout. The questions and activities encourage debate and high level thinking skills to encourage and facilitate independent study. I’ve popped some useful detailed summaries / quotation collections in with this to help your students with their revision of the text too. If you have any questions please message me. I hope that you find this a useful and time-saving resource to support your teaching.
