I made this for a year 4 class to consolidate their knowledge after they had spent a couple of lessons working on the column method.

A powerpoint to introduce comparing groups of numbers up to 20. Each slide has two groups and students have to choose which has more or less.

Mixed up instructions for students to order with appropriate connectives. MA and LA which involve less writing.

Bingo to practise word problems. Each student or pair of students has a bingo grid with the answers to word problems. Students take word problem cards and solve them, if they have the answer on their grid they can cross it out. Then get another word problem card and continue.

I made this resource for a year 4 class to help train them in proofreading their own work for mistakes with spelling, punctuation and capital letters.
