This engaging GCSE Geography research task uses football as a hook to explore global inequality, development, population, hazards and globalisation. Students are given 11 random football players and investigate key geographical facts about each player’s home nation, including location, population, HDI, GDP per capita, climate, natural hazards and urbanisation.
