A booklet including 22 extracts taken from Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Each extract includes an extract, a Part A question, Part B question and planning grids to help inform written responses. 16 key extracts (with questions) from Macbeth. Questions have been written for the GCSE Edexcel Specification. Each extract has a linking Part a on either a relationship or a character in the extract. Part b questions focus on key themes, emotions or characters within the play. Each extract also comes with a planning frame for students to use. At the beginning of the booklet, I provide an example paragraph for Part a and Part b and explain my process of writing. There are also explainations of how to craft a PETAL paragraph (Part a) and a CPR paragraph (Part b).

A planning sheet to help students plan their spoken language assessment! This ensures that they use lots of different techniques in order to develop their speech and also help them plan all of their thoughts out. The example task here is to plan a speech with the title “If I Ruled The World…” This sheet has been used successfully by a number of students now.
