I developed these to supplement experiments throughout the topic and they are especially useful for absent pupils as it reduces the time they will need to spend writing out missing classes.

Virtual museum in the form of a pdf with clickable photos/objects with links to external child-friendly wesbites. Students can navigate through the museum set-up and collect information from each section - a new way to do research tasks. All information is linked to the big bang and questions that students may have - links will show students answers in the form of reading passages and videos. Particularly helpful for students just starting to research or those that struggle to find credible/useful websites.

All areas of the virtual museum link to a separate webpage or video that students can use to conduct research on nuclear power. Perfect for use in the N4 Physics Course to aid students in finding credible information and gain an understanding of the benefits/risks of nuclear power. Resource includes various tasks that students need to work through, similar to an escape room type activity. Great for revision lessons and easy enough to set up as a cover lesson. When setting up, I typically use number code locks to lock up a box with chain/string however this activity can be done without hardware, simply by getting students to collect each 3 number code. Instructions are included, all you need to do is print documents off and decide on how best to present the challenge. If there are any issues, please let me know and I will do my best to help!
