‘Now, Next, Then’ Boards are visual task boards which allow pupils to see at a glance what is coming next. This helps pupils to cope with transitions and to make the day’s activities easier to process. They are also a great way to schedule movement / sensory / choosing time breaks for children who need them. In this file I have included: Two blank ‘Now, Next, Then’ boards / strips. Editable visual task cards that can be easily adapted to suit your pupils / class. I use velcro squares to attach the task cards to the boards. This is a free resource. A fun way for pupils to practise their times tables using dominoes! Within this file are two sheets with different levels of difficulty: Multiplying the numbers on each side of the domino together Adding the numbers on each side of the domino together, then multiplying those numbers together. This two step problem will add challenge for your pupils! All you need to accompany this resource is a set of dominoes, or even domino flash cards would work just as well! This is a free resource. This resource includes editable Cooperative Learning Job Cards to help develop teamwork skills and promote positive interactions when facilitating group work in the classroom! These cards give each child individual accountability for a particular aspect of their group project, while contributing to the overall success of the group! The roles include: Resource Manager Time Keeper Note Taker Encourager Voice Controller Presenter Quality Controller I have included an editable PowerPoint. I have adapted my Emoji Code Breaker resource I shared on Instagram to a Halloween-themed ‘Creepy Code Breaker’! This four operations task can be edited to suit the needs of your class - additional codes can be added and the level of challenge can be differentiated. Once all codes have been cracked and solutions found, pupils are then challenged to create their own codes for a partner to solve. This is a free resource.
