A practical resource to provide a framework and base of information that teachers can modify to meet their student’s needs and interests: whether it be used as an independent activity for students to work through at home, or incorporated into in-class learning much like a textbook chapter. This resource aims to allow students to: Review some of the basics of chemistry within the context of climate change Gain an understanding of the causes of climate change and its effects Introduce some of the chemistry involved in combatting climate change Gain an interest in science and environmental issues The resource includes a variety of question sections with linked answers and explanations to test understanding, as well as a multiple-choice quiz to be completed once the workbook is finished.
