A poetry lesson targeted at KS3. The poem focuses on ‘The Crocodile’ by Lewis Carroll and has a combonation of poetry analysis, analytical writing and creative tasks.

This is a lesson exploring nonsense poetry, specifically the ‘Jabberwocky’ by Lewis Caroll. This is targeted at Y7 who are studying Animal poetry. The lesson includes activities exploring and analysing the language as well as creative tasks. There is also a worksheet which can be used in conjunction with the power point.
