This is a problem solving resource. The resource links directly to Year 4 mathematics (using numbers up to 1000) but it can be adapted to any year group. For differentiation, take away the maths element and just emphasise the thinking process of choosing the items to take to the desert island. I have used this with a year 4 group and they loved the concept!
