French year 7 flip book

(0)
Revision resource for French year 7, could be after learning all present tense verb endings or at the end of the academic year as a fun activity before going on holidays. The flipbook includes to be filled in; the -er, -re and -ir endings of verbs irregular verbs être, faire and avoir common regular verbs for each section use of negatives possessive adjectives, definite and indefinite articles. This resource is not perfect as it was drawn by hand but this is an engaging activity for year 7 to complete and colour in as homework or spread over a double lesson as a treat. Please let me know if you like it and it works well in your classroom. I also have these for Spanish 7, 8 and 10/11 if you think they are a good idea.

Spanish Tense revision

This is a Spanish tense revision flipbook that you make from 4 pieces of paper. The students could fold the sheets themselves as part of the task or you can do it prior to lesson. I have used this resource for year 11 revision and at the end of year 10. This can also be used as an introduction to the subjunctive. It will take 1 lesson with a homework or a double lesson. This is great coming up to the writing exam and year 11’s have expressed that they found it clear and enjoyable to complete. Tenses included: Futuro inmediato Futuro simple El presente Pretérito Imperfecto Condicional Subjuntivo These include tasks to complete the regular and irregular form as well as idiomatic phrase translations and additions to be added on the last sheet. I also teach A-level and this could be used with y12 to check knowledge starting the course as a fun lesson or as a revision of the GCSE tenses. I did draw this out free hand so not perfect but a really useful activity that is not boring!

This is a Spanish tense resource for Key Stage 4 in the form of a flip book that can be printed and stapled together from students to complete with the opportunity to then decorate and colour in for more fun. Spanish tenses included: Futuro inmediato Futuro simple Presente Pretérito imperfecto Imperfecto Condicional Subjuntivo In addition, there are idiomatic phrases in the wow phrase section. I have done this with my year 11’s and at the end of year 10 when my students have covered these tenses. It can also be a way of introducing the subjunctive tense. This task usually is a single lesson with homwork to finish or a double lesson coming to the end of the academic year.
