Key Stage: Year7 - Sound Waves And Speed - Part 1

(2)
This unit of work is the first in the series of Yr7 Sound Waves (KS3). I have no doubt that the knowledge and skills learners acquired in this unit will help prepare them for subsequent units. I have tried as much as possible to introduce this unit of work by linking basic familiar concepts in states of matter to help consolidate the theory behind the speed of sound waves in matter and vacuum. Also learners will have the opportunity to self assess and evaluate their practical skills, in conjunction with knowledge acquired from collaborative activities in some of the slides. Ivan Ukiwah

Energy Resources - Flip Learning Task (FLT 1)

(0)
FLT materials are designed to help students obtain the initial information/knowledge independently, at home; hence gain a basic level of knowledge and understanding before the topic/concept is introduced in the classroom. The task are designed to deepen learning and develop higher-level cognitive skills.

Students should be able to explain that homeostasis is the regulation of the internal conditions of a cell or organism to maintain optimum conditions for function in response to internal and external changes.
