This 30 page booklet is a programme based around diet, sleep, and exercise which looks to support pupils in achieving positive mental health. We have used it to support pupils whilst they are on the list for the school counsellor or another sort of therapy, or when they are on the waiting list for CAMHS. We have also used it when pupils are experiencing difficult life circumstances or need some help with self care. The booklet focuses on 4 attributes which significantly contribute to positive mental wellbeing; positivity, ambition, resilience and being thankful. The booklet is pupil led, so there is little to be done on the side of the teacher or teaching assistant. It is designed to support pupils whilst not adding to your workload. Some pupils work through the entire booklet, whereas others use the sections that they feel are relevant to them. Permanence - this booklet provides the pupil with a permanent record of the work they undertake and is something they can refer back to time and time again. Look out for some new resources that we will be adding over the next few weeks. Most of them will include the JustBe branding.
