This became a real favourite with my classes over the years. It is a project that ends with a presentation. The work begins with a reading designed to make students think about the value of a cinema. It also includes a survey of local inhabitants asking what they would want from a cinema and ends with students designing and presenting their own cinemas. Note: I always felt class presentations worked better when it was only to the teacher or ‘a board’ rather than to the whole class. Students can find the idea of presenting to their peers really anxiety inducing. Good luck, Hope you like it
