Differentiated quadratic graphs with answers

(4)
This resource is a word document which contains colour-coded, differentiated questions on quadratic graph functions. The questions increase in difficulty. There is also an extension activity which requires students to determine whether a coordinate is part of a quadratic graph. The answers to the quadratic graph functions are presented in an xy table of coordinates. The answers to the extension questions are also provided. All answers to all questions can be found on the word file. This resource can be used for HA in KS3-KS4. It could also act as a starter activity for KS5. I hope you enjoy using this resource.

HCF and LCM application questions with solutions

(1)
Hi All This is my first resource, so hopefully you will find it useful. It provides students with the opportunity to extend their knowledge of HCF, LCM and Venn diagrams. On the word document, there is an image which contains a question from another TES user. The second questions are ones which I have created. I have attached screenshots of my solutions as well. I hope it is useful. I would appreciate any comments you have about the resource. Happy teaching.

Investigating with Equations of Straight Line Graphs

I have attached two versions of the same resource (one is a word document, the other is a PDF document). Select the one that you prefer. The worksheet requires students to come up with equations of straight lines when they have been given a certain criteria such as the gradient or y-intercept. The worksheet builds from positive, negative and then fractional gradients and y-intercepts. Notes have been added at the start of the document as guidance for students. Colour coding of gradient and y-intercept used throughout the document as a visual reminder. The worksheet can be used in an ICT lesson for investigating straight line graphs or used as part of assessments. I hope you enjoy using this resource. I would be grateful for any feedback on how you have used it in your lessons.

Stem and leaf mistakes and corrections (solutions provided)

Hi All This quick worksheet can be used as a starter or plenary. It includes deliberate mistakes in stem and leaf diagrams. The worksheet contains two columns for students to provide their answers. In the first column the students are required to explain the mistake in the stem and leaf diagram (good for Literacy). In the second box they need to create the correct stem and leaf diagram for the corresponding question. The first question I adapted from another TES user (if it is your question, let me know and I will give acknowledgement). The second question was one which I created. My solutions are provided in the document as well. Your thoughts and comments on the resource would be much appreciated. Happy teaching.

This is a word document which gets students to check whether a given coordinate is part of a straight line. The questions are colour coded and increase in difficulty. Answers are given on page 2 of the word document. I hope you enjoy using the resource. Azizul
