This resource is aimed at KS3 students. It is suitable for Year 7/ Year 8. The slides are available to download on powerpoint while the extract used in the lesson is on a Word doc. This lesson particularly focuses on literacy in the first half, recapping sentence structures. The second half of the lesson is creative writing based and can be edited per the level of individual classes

This is specifically aimed at Year 7 students with a literacy focus but could be useful for Year 8 literacy revision This set of lessons includes 11 lessons: Lesson 1 : Caps, Full stops Lesson 2: Question Marks Lesson 3: Exclamation Marks Lesson 4 and 5: Commas Lesson 6: Apostrophes Lesson 7: Speech Marks Lesson 8: Ellipses Lesson 9: Colons/ Semi-colons Lesson 10: Parenthesis Lesson 11: Hyphens Also included is a punctuation test booklet for students to use. Each lesson should be a full 50mins/1 hour lesson to deliver, but exercises could be used as starters/plenaries in other lessons.
