This is a KS3 lesson introducing the concept of Ecumenical Councils in the Catholic Church. It has differentiated and challenge tasks included and worksheets available. Learning objectives: What is an ecumenical council? What happened at the Council of Jerusalem? What is the purpose of an ecumenical council?

A KS3 lesson on the difficulties of following the Decalogue/Ten Commandments today, with a particular focus on truth and social media. Tasks include: debate on whether ‘social media undermines the truth’ with Youtube video and arguments, analysis of Catechism teaching on the issue and plenaries built in.
