This document helps track progression of skills and knowledge of maths from EYFS to year 6. It is aligned with the White Rose progression but I have broken the maths curriculum down into its major strands, aligned to the National Curriculum, following a mastery approach. It maps the progression of each skill across the year groups. This will allow both class teachers and maths subject leaders to see progression over time.

Year 1 Maths Assessment tracker

Year 1 Maths Assessment resource to help you track your pupils progress. There are 3 terms Autumn term, Spring term and Summer term. Each term covers different units from the White Rose scheme e.g ‘place value’. All you have to do is insert your pupil names when you make an assessment and use the drop down list in each cell to indicate whether or not the pupil has achieved the step. The colour of the cell will change automatically to match the key shown to the left. So if you select WT from the drop down list, the colour will change to red. There is an option of ‘not assessed’ if the pupul was absent or if its not appropriate for them to be assessed.
