This is a tried and tested bundle of resources for Year 9 musical fusions. Although there are 5 lessons, there is a lot of content which could easily be adapted to last seven weeks if needed. The resources focus on Pop, Reggae, Disco, Classical and Rock. The lessons are focused more towards ensemble and instrumental skills, although there is a listening/written assessment included. All these PowerPoints, worksheets and lead sheets are my own. Please do adapt these resources to suit! Includes key words sheet. Lesson 4: PowerPoint and self assessment / features tick sheet to guide the fusion between ‘Hey Jude’ and ‘Three Little Birds’. Lesson 5 (Rock): PowerPoint and worksheet that includes piano lead sheet for ‘Don’t Stop Believin’’. This songs works really well as a fusion with world music, such as Samba rhythms.
