Opportunities for assessment and independent writing should be shaped by what your class is ready for.
Why this works:
Encourages creativity through drawing, storytelling, and discussion
Builds confidence and independence in writing
Carefully sequenced to support progression without overload
Ideal for Year 1 teachers and ECTs
This resource is designed to save time, support strong writing practice, and give you the flexibility to make it work for your class.
