Using the power and reputation of both women’s football and the anti-discrimination work of Kick It Out, this resource introduces the issues of sexism and misogyny by looking at changing attitudes towards women’s football. The aim of Play Your Part is to encourage students to both recognise and challenge negative stereotypes and discrimination safely. Play Your Part is suitable for PSHE, English, Art, and Drama students aged 11-16. It contains a series of flexible, cross-curricular activities which can be used alone or in sequence to embed learning across the timetable.
