ZIP - with a powerpoint, a homework doc and two audios. I have based the powerpoint on the double page spread from the Higher textbook. This should cover at least 2 lessons. The listening will need to be done with the audio from the textbook, as I have no access to it. I have also added in another listening, a dictation, which does include an audio. I have also added a photo card exercise, which links into the homework. There is a running translation activity as well. Apart from the listening from the textbook, all activities come with the answers.

At least two whole lessons with DINTs and two plenaries (Obviously the length of lessons and the ability of the group may vary the amount of tasks that can be completed within one lesson). One plenary is a task reviewing the use of ser/ estar, the other is a presentation of the written task from lesson 2. I have used the textbook exercises, except the listening, which is an extra resource. I have also added a translation into English, a role play and a review of when to use ser and estar to the lessons. As part of the writing task, I have added a slide with some idioms and some slides which review interrupted actions. The last two slides are homework - translations into Spanish using ser or estar. I have also added a doc with the same homework task. I have added the audio files separately, as they are not linked into the powerpoint. All answers are given.

This is a powerpoint of the double page spread of unit 6 in the AQA GCSE Higher book. I have included 2 pieces of homework. - one is vocabulary learning, vocab taken from the all of the double page spreads in the unit. The other homework is Imperfect practice. I have also included a read aloud task and 2 small plenaries to assess understanding of the grammar points. I have given an explanation of the spelling rules for adding the suffixes ísimo and ito. I have added the audio files separately, as they are not linked into the powerpoint. These should cover at least two lessons.

I have made 4 lessons to deal with translation for Spanish into English and four sets of homework all on the topic of Celebrity Culture. All translations are made with the official AQA vocabulary list and both the lessons and the homework use the same sections of vocabulary. On the presentation there are tips for translating and for learning the vocabulary. On both the presentation and the docs answers are given.

I have put together 6 lessons that deal with the whole list of vocabulary for Education and work. This is linked into the NEW specification starting in 2026. I have given tips on how to go about the translations, how to study the vocabulary and I have put on the vocabulary lists, with 12 translations per list. The answers have also been provided. There are two different sets of worksheets to practice Spanish translation into English, for the topic Education and Work. One set of worksheets is for foundation level and the other is for higher level. In the higher level worksheets there are two sets of translations, one for level 5-7 and one for 8-9. These worksheets can work in conjunction with a set of lessons that I made dealing with translation from Spanish into English. All of the worksheets come with answers. All of the translations link into the official AQA vocabulary list for the new GCSE starting in 2026.

A first and possibly second lesson. It introduces aspects of the Spanish language and culture and then goes on to introductions in Spanish. Great for any year 7 or 8 class beginning their Spanish learning journey. You could add some homework related to different types of food in Spain. For example, callos, gallinejas, pulpo erizos de mar, caracoles. The students might say why they seem a little different to what we eat and investigate what parts of Spain they are popular in.

A quiz to revise unit 1 of Allez 1. Answers are given at the end of the quiz. Within the quiz is a revision of classroom commands such as sit down, open your books, listen, etc…
