There is literacy opportunities towards the end of the activity, in which students create their own narrative to the comic page they have created. Students will create their own Bug inspired superhero or villain, considering careful composition, use of colour and inspiration from vintage comic styles. This offers much personality and independent thinking. There is a small sample of basic outlines on an A3 scale for students to use, alongside a starter activity that encourages colour theory.
