Students are to match 48 images from various popular movies to the film technique (Close Up, Extreme Close Up, Mid Shot, Long/Full Shot, Establishing Shot, Aerial Shot, Low Angle Shot, High Angle Shot) used in the image. This activity can be a little fiddly to set up as it requires a bit of cutting, however I have laminated mine and have used them multiple times over the years.

This 69 slide Powerpoint was devised as a Term 4 Unit, it can be adapted to fit between 5 and 10 weeks deeping on your need. It focuses on ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ film, and the theme of teamwork. Students are encouraged to work together in their houses to develop a personal understanding of teamwork while analysing the film.
