These quick fire packs enable the children to practice and recall basic number facts quickly.
Each pack focuses on a different digit, to secure it before moving on. This pack is + and - 4.
Give the children between 30 seconds and 1 minute to complete the sheet each day and record their score. They can then see their progress.
Consider giving a reward when they beat their score or complete the sheet.
When they consistently beat their score, they can move on to the next pack.
We are trailing the 4, 5 and 6 digit packs before rolling out others.
Feedback when used is welcome!
This is a great resource for any primary school age when reinforcing the use of capital letters.
I have previously used it as part of proof-reading lessons.
What I like, is that it doesn’t matter what the ability is of the child in writing, they can all find some errors! Your children who are just learning where a capital letter goes can find the ones at the start of sentences.
Your more advanced learners can find those sneaky ones in names of people, organisations or places.
Feedback is welcome as we develop more of these recources.
