WALT - Conceptual subitising (Spotting two parts in the whole) This worksheet is inline with White rose maths - conceptual subitising. I used this with my EYFS class. The children recognise the parts by circling around both colour parts and write the whole in the small box. This is a great way to promote dual coding - as the the children circle the parts they use the sentence stem to support their understanding.
