This is a pack of seven Foundation photo task designed for the new Edexcel French specification (first exam in 2026). Each card comes with a student card and a teacher card with some additional questions. These additional questions can also be used to prepare students for the conversation part of the exam. These can be used in class for speaking practice, with the teacher leading or in pairs once students have build up more confidence. You can easily turn it into a speaking/listening game where one student describes the photo whilst their partner tries to draw the description they hear. A powerpoint with all the photos is also included to support whole class teaching/practice.

One pen one dice translation game. Students work in pairs and race to translate their sentences with just one pen and dice between them. Whoever rolls a six can start translating their sentences, but their partner gets the pen once they roll a six. First one to complete their set of sentences is the winner.
