This resource can be laminated and placed out for the children to peg, pegs on to the shells to help with their fine motor.

Children to use the blank frames to make each number using two different colours. The children will then say how many of each colour they have, encouraging them to know the composition of each number to 5.

Print the octopus head onto A3 paper and laminate. Hole punch 8 holes at the bottom and place pipe cleaners in the holes. Children will use beads to thread onto the legs.
