A fully resourced 10-slide introductory lesson (usually takes me 2 lessons) for ‘Global Studies’. I’ve used this with Y6-Y9 classes with age-related differentiation taking place through the depth of questions and conversation taking place. I’ve found it a thought-provoking, engaging introduction to this subject.

**GCSE Religious Studies: Islam Beliefs and Teachings ** ’11 Quotes for Success’ A useful revision tool to give to students or a class aid focussing on Qur’anic quotes to help students understand the content of the beliefs and teachings unit. There are 11 quotes included with a handy description of what we can learn from each quote. As an activity with this resource, students could be encouraged to focus on what impact each quote would have on how Muslims live their lives. Although this was created for a group studying the AQA specification, it will be useful for all exam boards. Feedback welcomed.

Created for my Y11 EDUQAS Route B class as we are recapping Judaism knowledge. This complements a computer room based lesson or one where they have access to iPads or computers in the classroom. Focuses on what they are and the impact of the Tenakh and Talmud on daily life for Jews. PPT with Kahoot quiz attached, student worksheet to complete throughout the lesson and a revision card task to plenarise the lesson or to set as homework.

Suitable for GCSE Students, this resource would supplement a lesson looking at the Resurrection or stand alone as a task that would fill an entire lesson. It is scaffolded to support students to question the arguments for and against a physical resurrection of Jesus. Challenge and Super-Challenge tasks enable students to further support their points utilising additional Biblical extracts.

PPT created for a week of learning covering Theme 3F ‘Challenges from pluralism and diversity within a tradition’ for the Christianity section of the Equqas Religious Studies A Level. This could also be used for other exam boards (I know that Pluralism is a topic on the AQA specification too). There are a variety of notes, activities and questions for students to complete. Reference is made to page numbers in the G Barker text book but could easily be removed.

Training session full of take-away tips for teachers. Especially useful in the build up to exam season. I have delivered this session at 2 different schools now and received positive feedback. This will save you the hassle of having to plan a CPD session on this topic area if you’re having to deliver one.

Crib Sheet that I use to remind myself of important issues when students are studying Natural Moral Law and its application to Abortion. Useful for any A Level spec. Could be given to students for their notes.

Created for a Primary School to hand out to parents/students to encourage engagement within the diverse community. Could be used in lower ability KS3 lessons as a resource for students to refer to.
