Below is the Year 7 Art Scheme of Work designed for one lesson per week (approximately 36 weeks). It is skills-based, includes art history throughout, develops confidence in drawing and making, and culminates in an exhibition. The curriculum is aligned with the National Curriculum while introducing GCSE-style habits such as artist research, experimentation and evaluation.
