A complete stage-by-stage swimming programme, written by a swim teacher for swim teachers. Ten numbered stages, from first splashes to advanced aquatic skills. Every stage has at least one full lesson for each of the four strokes: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Stages 1 and 2 introduce all four strokes gently with noodles, floats and standing-depth water. WHAT’S INSIDE (133 pages, 94 lesson plans) Beginners, Stages 1-3: 27 x 30-minute lessons Water confidence, bubbles, floats and regaining standing, push and glides, then front and back paddle, breaststroke and dolphin kick, through to 10m front and back, rotation, sculling, treading water and picking up objects. They are adapted for young swimmers, with no hypoxic or breath-hold work. They are not his actual plans, and the pack is not endorsed by or affiliated with him. EVERY PLAN: aims and equipment, five timed parts with teaching points, timings that add up to exactly 30 or 45 minutes, and a safety note. ALSO: how-to guide, progression maps, blank template, 12-week register, certificates. WHO IT’S FOR Swim teachers, swimming instructors, school swimming leads and club coaches. Stages are skill-based, not age-based: Stages 1-3 suit children from about age 4 as well as adult beginners, and Stages 7-10 suit confident juniors, teens and adults.
