Basic recall questions to help pupils revise for year 1 A level Biology (AQA). Could be used as an in class revision activity, homework or a topic test. They are basic recall questions - no application or analysis. I used these just to check subject knowledge and to use as a revision aid.

A revision poster I made for my higher and lower set pupils to revise the rates of reaction topic. Higher set poster includes equilibrium/reversible reactions on second page. Needs to be printed onto A3 paper as the writing is very small!

Designed for GCSE Biology, a scaffolded lesson to introduce pupils to the carbon cycle by breaking it down into smaller cycles. The opportunity for pupils to make their own carbon cycle in the lesson and a printable slide for support constructing the cycle. Simple exam style questions. A question to link to carbon footprints which can link to global warming. Plenary multiple choice quiz. Sheets to print are at the end of the powerpoint.

Simple powerpoint covering useful and wasted energy, calucalting efficiency and constructing Sankey diagrams. The pupils will need graph paper for the diagrams. I covered this in a 50 minute lesson with year 8.
