This lesson focuses on the bull fighter, what it takes to be a matador and why it might be an attractive career for young Spaniards.

This resource is designed to help students of Spanish revise and practise using key vocabulary in order to build sentences. Using a “chunking” approach, the exercises allow students to develop mastery of high frequency language and useful verb forms for each topic of the GCSE. Students match up phrases in order to then translate more complex sentences before moving onto exam style practice. Mock exam questions with exemplar answers are also included for each of the 8 topics.

This booklet is designed to allow students to practise their extended writing in Spanish at foundation level. The focus of this booklet is on translation and 90 word questions. The booklet was designed most closely to Edexcel layout and style but works equally well with AQA. I currently use it with AQA students. As well as the space to respond to questions, it also provides a space for them to write a redraft that acknowledges all feedback and corrections from their teacher.
