I have created this based upon the tortoise letters, giraffe letters and monkey letters idea. Each has it's own section. Hope it is of some use. My kiddies love it. xccw joined is the name of the font this has been created in as used in our school. Please be aware that you will not be able to view the cursive font unless it is installed on your computer.

We are having a centenary week at school next week and ive struggled to find much suitable to ks1. I have put a few slides together here that can be edited to suit your year group. Hope it is useful to others.

This covers the whole alphabet and uses a joined dotted handwriting font which enables the children to trace over then have a go on their own underneath. Enjoy Mrs B

This is a simple idea which i am trialling this week in numeracy. Each puzzle piece starts with a multiple of ten (10 up to 120) and has eight circles then ending in next multiple of ten. We are going to be using them to locating two and three digit numbers then creating a class number line. Just thought it was a different way of visualising it and for children to see how the multiples of ten follow on. We are also going to be spotting the patterns with the tens and units. Enjoy!

Going to be using this as part of a Polish day within our school. Starts with an intro to Polish phonics then covers colours, numbers to 10 and family members. Could be used as an alternative to French or just as EAL activity with newly arrived Polish children. Thought i would put it on here as there is a serious lack of Polish resources.

I have a couple of new EAL children and some SEN who still haven't grasped their initial sounds and the idea that a word is made up of letters.
