This is an excellent, high-quality, progressive unit on persuasive letters. It stems from the ‘The Last Wolf’ book (by Mini Grey) with the outcome being a persuasive letter but this can be adapted. Includes immersion, skills building, shared and model write and editing lesson. 5 week unit with all the lessons, PowerPoints and resources provided, including differentiated resources and word banks. Made for a Year 2 group but very easily adapted to Year 1-4. Also links with environmental issues and protection of our environment.
