This is a comprehensive set of lessons designed to spread over a term or two (depending on age) in aid of learning a range of skills from artist research, cutting card, paper cutting, gelli printing, and construction methods. There are attached homeworks which ask students to explore artists and methods and to create ‘factfiles’. This is thoroughly explained with templates. The construction of the cabinet comes with a to scale template to aid students less adept with measuring. There is craft knife use as part of these workshops.
