A list of important, famous, and interesting celebrities from the Spanish speaking world, set in a format to engage students. Also included is a model/template on how to write a biography and an example of one on Pedro Almodóvar. Students research one of the list of celebrities and write their own. I used this as a first task during lockdown, so students only included Spanish that they were comfortable with, hence why the model mixes between both languages. I found this eased them in to Home Learning and reduced the amount of Google Translate paragraphs submitted. Can be used for all years, Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 and can be adapted according to their ability level.
