Using the booklet the pupils can look at the mystery of the princes. They also have different suspects and have to rank each of them. This can be followed by a court case activity putting the suspects on trial

Pupils have to put themselves the position of the RAF waiting an attack from the Nazis. They have to decide what items to buy to help them and can support their choice by the sources. They can then present their strategy to the class who can question them and self evaluate their plan highlighting the positives and negatives.

The task allows pupils to take on the role of a slave and plot how they will escape a plantation. They will have to produce a plan and use sources to support them. Each pair or small group can then do a presentation explaining how they will escape and if it would be successful.
