This is an extensive set of three sheets which is aimed at lower ability KS4 and below for practicing word equations for acids reactions. It covers acids with metal oxides first, then carbonates and finally metals themselves. It is structured in a ramped way, starting very simply and building up in complexity, finishing with mixed questions on reactions of various acids with various bases and metals.

Aimed at GCSE foundation tier, with the approach used recently by Edexcel ‘gapfill’ equations.
