Slides to practise verb formation in the Past Simple (Spanish). Regular and irregular verbs. Practice with gaps or full verbs (with animations and colour-coding). Excellent for Year 7-8. Engaging activity to revise. It can be used as a starter or as plenary. Work in pairs, teacher times and students have fun! Use also translation (good for GCSE) when modelling, students challenge themselves and love it.

Lesson planned for the specific question from my students: When do we use 'qué' and 'cuál'? I tried to make it easy and clear for everyone and I decided to spend one lesson on this after we had speaking assessments. Following the current New GCSE, I concentrated on making questions using 'qué' and 'cuál' because many of my students made mistakes on this grammar point when making the questions they had to ask for the role play.

In order to use as much TL as I can, I use slides as support and I ask students to translate what is on the slides in English. Then, we check together.
