The Explorer- Katherine Rundell- VIPERS/Comprehension questions and activities for most chapters.

(3)
Resource created as whole class reading questions in the style of VIPERS, including questions on Vocabulary, Inference, Prediction, Explanation, Retrieval and Summarise. Almost all chapters have questions written for them- only a couple missing when we read the book during reading time rather than a lesson. Questions written in chapters, but document specifies pages that questions refer to. Used in a 5/6 class but I know the text has also been used in 7/8.

SEN English Planning One to One- Whole Year.

This year’s worth of English planning was planned using the progression steps for an autistic child in my class who had a one to one TA. The child was in Year 6 but working towards the Year 1 curriculum so activities planned are based on the progression steps leading up to National Curriculum 1. Most activities were planned using resources from Twinkl but any others I will have made myself and can send across if required. Planning was written for TA who delivered sessions with child outside of the class room in their own working space but could definitely be adapted for wide range of uses and would make a great starting point for planning for children with special needs working at a similar ability mentioned above.
