Where Could English Take You display board

(0)
Just something I mocked up for a display in my classroom. Best used on a small board as it is A4, but you can always enlarge. You’ll need to use coloured paper cut into strips to do the tube lines and plot them on your display board yourself, in the way that you want to. I cut the circles for the tube stations myself and just used a board pen to create the black line.

Key Quotations Analysis Grid

(0)
A key quotations analysis grid. I think this document is A4 but the intention is that it is blown up to A3, though this isn’t necessary. Can be used for any literature text; the examples provided here are ones I made for Macbeth. Really good for group work. Relevant for KS3 and KS4 and all exam boards. Enables the students to organise their thoughts to do indepth analyses of language, meaning, and how a quotation can relate to character, theme and an audience response. Can be used to support / plan analytical writing (such as PEE, PEZE, PETER etc) and also as a revision tool.

Macbeth Cloze Exercises

Can be used as a quick starter or plenary to remind students of the plot of Macbeth. Will probably need a little bit of reformatting (changing font size etc) to suit your needs before you print / use them.
