Multiplication joke code breaker

(11)
Really simple multiplications which can be solved as a class to reveal a punchline. Would be good as a short starter or plenary to consolidate times tables. KS2 or early KS3 (lower ability). Also very easy to adapt to make it more challenging!!

Differentiated Fractions Treasure Hunt

(4)
A bronze, silver, gold differentiated treasure hunt that looks at the four operations with fractions, fractions of an amount, simplifying fractions, equivalent fractions, converting between mixed and improper fractions and comparing fractions. I print these out on A4 card and stick them around the room in order (1-10). Students choose their level (or you can choose for them) and they start on different questions. In their books they would write the question number they started on, look for the correct answer and write the number of that card in their book. They would then answer the question to the left, look for the answer and continue until they reach their starting card. *errors have been fixed!* The order for the solutions are: Bronze: 1 – 6 – 4 – 7 – 10 – 3 – 5 – 2 – 9 – 8 – 1 Silver: 1 – 8 – 3 – 5 – 10 – 4 – 6 – 7 – 9 – 2 – 1 Gold: 1 – 5 – 3 – 9 – 7 – 4 – 8 – 10 – 2 – 6 - 1
