This is an Anti-Bullying Week assembly 2025 for KS3 aimed to be real and not patronising or repeating things they may have already heard. This assembly focuses on ‘invisible’ forms of bullying and comprises of an assembly script, with parts for up to 7 students and one member of staff. You will also receive in the bundle a fully comprehensive, 8 slide PPT to use in the assembly. You will receive full un-watermarked, editable Word and PowerPoint files upon purchase - thank you. Please message me with your email address if these do not automatically reach you and I will email them by return (I am still learning how to protect my work so apologies if this seems strange!). As a new author, I would be so very grateful for your review - thank you!

This is a single lesson (50 to 60 mins), suitable for years 7-8, assuming no prior knowledge incorporating keyboards and singing. You will receive 7 files including all resources and extensions. The lesson introduces the song ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight (Wimoweh)’ and combines unison and optional part singing (as an extension) with very simple keyboard harmonies. Glockenspiels could be substituted for keyboards as desired! There are extension keyboard parts for any existing pianists including chords and a notated melody and worksheets showing exactly where to put your fingers for those who have zero keyboard knowledge. I recently had an interview with a class who had not done any keyboard lessons at all, hence the wide range of abilities catered for within these resources. There is also a listening worksheet and comprehensive PPT with all audio embedded. You will be getting:
An editable lesson plan
A detailed PowerPoint to accompany you every step of the lesson
A listening worksheet and 4.) Teacher Answer key for convenience and speed
A 2-page Easy Keyboard worksheet with colour diagrams showing one finger easy parts for bass, harmony 1 and harmony 2
A notated melody part for extension
A piano harder extension comprising of two hands - notated chords and bass line.
Please do consider giving me a review and rating if you found these resources helpful - I would be so grateful! Thank you!
PS - I took small coloured and labelled stickers with me (having sought permission first) so the kids were able to learn the simple parts very quickly
PPS - I got the job - hooray!
Keep smiling - and thank you again! Jo
