Dragons Den Year 6 business planning

(0)
Looking for the perfect post-SATs project? Look no further! For the past several years, my school has run a Dragon’s Den-style business project that has become a post-SATs highlight for our Year 6 students. It’s a fantastic way for them to get stuck into something creative, collaborative, and real-world. This resource provides step-by-step guidance to help your pupils set up and run their own mini business. It’s flexible too—you can adapt it to suit your school’s needs and timetable. In our version, Year 6 pupils form small groups and plan a real business venture. It all builds up to an exciting Enterprise Day, where they run market-style stalls selling items like stationery, snacks, and handmade goods. Parents, staff, and fellow pupils are invited to shop and support the young entrepreneurs. Best of all, the money raised goes toward their end-of-year celebrations!
