Analysis sheet for KS2 Maths SATs May 2016

(1)
This is useful for Year 6 and SLT as it analyses students' SATs results both summatively (results from May 2016), and more usefully, formatively during the year when used as a SATs practice paper. Graphs show attainment in the different content domains as: All, Boy/Girl, Nil response, for individual papers and for all papers merged. Attainment by question is shown; also included are graphs showing detailed breakdown of Calculations/FractionsDecimals and Percentages as nearly 60% of marks were in those areas. Guidance is included for inputting the data. If you are using the Sample Maths SATs paper this year, I can let you have a spreadsheet for that as well if you are interested.

These analysis sheets are useful for Upper KS2, Lower KS3, SLT as they enable tracking of attainment and progress in Reading through the year. The spreadsheets generate a Summary sheet and Graphs (see examples) showing attainment in Fiction/Non-Fiction and the different content domains as well as by question. Individual student attainment can also be seen on the spreadsheet. Guidance notes for data entry are shown on the first worksheet. Spreadsheets are 90 column and 40 column; insert/hide columns as necessary (drag formula across columns to generate totals formula on inserts). Areas with formulas are protected to stop them being overwritten. Should you find you need to unprotect, use password 'sesme'.
