Place Value Grids for use with Counters

(0)
These place value grids help children understand numbers, including decimals, and can be used to perform addition and subtraction. They are designed for use with place value counters, and have columns for thousands, hundreds, tens, ones, tenths and hundredths. Each column has marks for nine counters, to remind children how many counters can go in each column, and to help them keep the counters neat and organised. They have broad application with children of all abilities across a wide range of years, primarily in Key Stage 2.

Tetraflexagons are squares of paper that have sides hidden inside. By folding the tetraflexagon, you can cycle through all the sides. This is a fun cut and stick exercise suitable for Key Stage 2 and up.
